On behalf of the Town of Golden and its council, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our town's website and thank you for your interest in our "authentic" community.
Serving an area population of over 8,000, the Town of Golden is rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the most desired places to live and work in south eastern British Columbia. Located on the Trans-Canada Highway, our economy is well diversified for our size, with the forest industry, railway repair yards and tourism sector all contributing to ensure a community of people with many backgrounds and interests.
