Risk Management Officer

Golden Fire Rescue is a vibrant and progressive emergency response organization that provides a variety of emergency services to our 4,000 residents and the surrounding area.

We are seeking a Risk Management Officer to participate in our fire inspection regime, create pre-fire plans, ensure compliance with the ‘Playbook’, our provincial training standard, and other applicable regulations. The incumbent will also provide administrative and operational support to the Fire Chief.

You, the successful applicant, will be proficient in organizing and maintaining a variety of electronic and manual records management systems both inside and outside the Microsoft Office® environment. You will possess effective communication and strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working in the team environment of a paid on call fire department.

This is a permanent, exempt, part time position based on a 20 hour work week. A competitive benefits package is offered with a salary commensurate with experience and abilities.
