Today is National Indigenous People’s Day – a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the cultures, heritage and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. National Indigenous People’s Day reminds us of the importance of learning about Indigenous history, perspective and cultures in Canada and listening to the voices of Indigenous people in our communities. ⁣
