The Boil Water Advisory for Selkirk Heights and Bears Paw Heights remains in effect.

Results of yesterday’s resampling are expected by the end of this week (Friday/Saturday). Once the results are made available to the Town, staff will determine next steps and we will provide an update to the community at that time. The Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until further notice. No other areas of Golden are affected by the advisory.

Residents of Selkirk and Bears Paw Heights should continue boiling water for drinking, cooking or washing fruits and vegetables. Bring water to a rolling boil for a minimum of one minute to make sure it is potable.

Notice: Boil Water Advisory for Selkirk Heights and Bears Paw Heights - Sunday, May 22 at 7 p.m.⁣

A boil water advisory has been issued for residents of Selkirk Heights and Bears Paw Heights due to bacteriological results received for the Bears Paw Reservoir. No other areas of Golden are affected by the advisory.⁣

Water for drinking, cooking or washing fruits and vegetables should be prepared by bringing water to a rolling boil for a minimum of one minute to make sure it is potable.⁣

Resampling will occur on Tuesday and when the water quality is confirmed to be potable, the advisory will be lifted. ⁣
