Mount 7 Rec Plex

The Mount 7 Rec Plex is a community gym, owned and operated by the Town of Golden. 



The facility was originally constructed in the early 1960’s as a high school gymnasium and became a community facility after the construction of a new high school in the late 1980's. The municipality took over ownership of the gymnasium from the school board and the facility now functions as a multi-use sports and community complex.

The gym space is equipped to host basketball, badminton, volleyball, gymnastics and other activities that are traditionally hosted on a hard wood gym floor. The building is equipped with a performance stage, change rooms, bleachers and small kitchen. Tables and chairs are available for theater and dinner style events.
