Administrative Clerk


The Town of Golden is looking for an Administrative Clerk to be a part of our team of highly dedicated, hardworking, and fun-loving accounting and administrative professionals.

About the Role

The Administrative Clerk is the first point of contact for the general public. Their primary role is to provide general reception, cashiering and front counter customer service, as well as clerical and administrative support for the Finance and Corporate Services departments.

Ideal Candidate

Organizational fit is critical in our workplace.  You need to have exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving and relationship building skills, be a clear team player, adaptable and highly personable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of post-secondary education in business, accounting or office administration;
  • Basic knowledge of office and administrative practices, procedures and standards;
  • Minimum of one years’ customer service and cash handling experience; 
  • Proficiency in Windows office suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Satisfactory completion of a Police Information Check.
