The Downtown Plaza will reach final completion later this month! Starting next week, crews will install the long-awaited shade structure and light features, adding the final touches to the plaza. Please use caution, watch for crews, and adhere to all signage to help them get their jobs done safely and effectively.
This project is funded through a combination of the provincially sponsored Tourism Dependent Communities Grant and the Resort Municipalities Initiative. The new design was informed in part by public input in 2019. Learn more about the project at golden.ca/downtownplaza.
