Construction continues on Golden Community Economic Development’s Downtown Golden Housing Project. The construction crew will require the use of a mobile crane on 9th Ave. N between the Downtown Golden Housing Project site and Big Bend Café from 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 5. This work will require a temporary closure during this time.
The closure will impact both northbound and southbound lanes on 9th Ave. N from 6th St. N to the edge of the project site (see map below). Signs will be in place, and passenger vehicles will still be able to access 9th Ave N from 5th St N and turn around with the help of traffic control personnel. The east sidewalk will remain open.
Please ensure delivery drivers avoid 9th Ave. N during this time.
