Reminder for property owners: 2023 Property taxes must be paid in full by 4:30 p.m. on July 4, 2023.
There are four ways to pay your property taxes:
- In Person at Town Hall, Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or through the mail slot at the front entrance.
- Using your online banking platform.
- Online using a credit credit card.
- Sending a cheque or Money Order in the mail.

Please note that payments made through financial institutions and other providers can take at least 4 business days to process.
A ten percent penalty will be added to outstanding current charges remaining unpaid after 4:30 p.m. on July 4. To learn more about taxes, including options for payment, visit golden.ca/tax

Don’t forget that home owners must apply for the home owner grant every year through the Province of BC. You can do that now at gov.bc.ca/homeownergrant or by calling 1-888-355-2700.
