BC Wildfire reports that on the southern section of the fire, crews continue to hold the fire, and work on mop up and strengthening guards, and using direct attack methods. On the northern section of the fire they are strengthening containment lines along the north edge and are mopping up and removing any built-up fuels along the established guard.
Overnight drone scans have identified hot spots in which fire crews will work to locate and extinguish and helicopters continue to provide support on the Dogtooth wildfire operations, patrolling for hotspots outside of the main guard. An Evacuation Alert remains in place for 332 properties from Hawkins Rd to approximately 2km south of Parson and an Evacuation Order remains in place for Rauch Rd., Malone Rd., Parson River Crossing FSR, Thomas Rd., and 2104 Highway 95 S.
