The Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) in Golden remains activated and incident responders continue to work on the fire. The weather continues to remain stable. Helicopters continue bucketing to cool the fire’s edge or flareups as visibility and objectives require.
BC Wildfire has assigned an Incident Management Team (IMT) to support the Dogtooth wildfire and other wildfires in the region. IMTs consist of a diverse group of skilled personnel dedicated to a common goal of managing complex wildfire events. Four initial attack crews and one unit crew are currently responding to the fire along with aviation resources, heavy equipment and structure protection.
