We are adjusting our hours of operation for the long weekend, April 15-18.
All Town of Golden facilities will be closed to the public on Friday, April 15 and Monday, April 18.
Recreation is moving outdoors and the tennis and pickleball courts are ready to go! Silver Sneakers will continue at the Mount 7 Rec Plex after the long weekend. Check out the schedule.
Don’t forget to be a good neighbour this spring season! Here are just a few ways you can be a good neighbour based on our Town Bylaws:
- Work on construction and demolition projects, including using your power tools, during specified times. The noise bylaw allows these types of activities to take place between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon and 9 p.m. on Sundays.
- It’s spring cleaning time, don’t forget to maintain your property and yard. The Free Yard Waste Roundup day is April 21!
- A reminder to residents of Golden that you are not permitted to burn ANY refuse material, including trees, stumps and leaves (and no other substances), within the Town of Golden at any time.
