
Notice is given according to Community Charter Section 40, that the Council of the Town of Golden proposes to consider adoption of Town of Golden Bylaw No. 1486, 2023 - Lane Closure at its March 4, Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. (or perhaps at a subsequent meeting).
The purpose of this bylaw is to close and remove the road dedication from the lane abutting 1020 10th Avenue South (north of Save-on-Foods) and comprising 241.6m², more or less, shown as “lane” on reference plan EPP132722.
Also, notice is given according to Community Charter Section 26, that the Town of Golden intends to sell a 6 metre wide portion of land to Jim Pattison Developments Ltd. for $44,250 (based on the 2023 assessed value of the adjacent parcel). The land is +/- 139.29 m² and is an undeveloped road. A condition of the sale is the purchaser entering into a private easement for the benefit of Lots 9 and 10 and a temporary SRW for electricity and communications.
