The Town of Golden Council hereby provides notice to the public of its intent to execute a 5-year land and building lease with the Golden Food Bank Society, allowing it to establish a new centre of operations in our community.
The lease area is approximately 2,012m2, a portion of PID 010576631, known commonly as the former COTR House and associated grounds adjacent to the municipal campground and across the street from the Golden Municipal Swimming Pool.
The lease will be of a nominal rent nature, in place of past regular and traditional financial contributions from the town to the society, facilitating for it greater local sustainability, programming growth and mandate within the community.
