On Tuesday, October 18, the Town’s Chief Election Officer declared the official results for the 2022 General Local Election.
Election night results have been verified and there are no changes from the preliminary results announced on Saturday, October 15.
Residents of Golden voted to elect one mayor and six councillors.

Voter turnout for the 2022 Golden Election was 1,267 for a total voter turnout of 42 per cent. There were an estimated 3,033 eligible voters for the 2022 Golden Election.
