Office of Mayor – one to be elected.

In the 2022 General Local Election, residents of Golden will vote to elect 1 Mayor and 6 Town Councillors. All offices will be held for a four-year term.
Voting Dates and Locations:
Advance Voting
Advance voting will take place on Wednesday, October 5, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Golden Civic Centre located at 806, 10th Avenue South.
Voting Day
Voting Day will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Golden Civic Centre located at 806, 10th Avenue South.
Special Voting
Special Voting will be available for electors who are patients, tenants or staff of the following facilities at the time of voting:
Wednesday, October 5, 2022 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the:
- General Hospital (835 9th Avenue South)
- Durand Manor (835 9th Avenue South)
- Mountain View Assisted Living (750 8th Avenue South)
- Abbeyfield House (915 9th Street South)
